If you didn’t think master of the prepared piano Hauschka’s latest album was his most upbeat yet, then his new “dance” music video for “Agdam” will pretty much change that.
Directed by Jordan Bruner and Lee Gingold, the music video “Agdam” from Hauschka’s new album Abandoned City follows a somewhat seemingly innocent artistic dance by two girls. Moods and visions change drastically halfway into the video as what was originally thought to be a typical performance piece turns into something darker as the dancers change not only their appearance but their aggression in movement.
Following along the lines of the first video off the Abandoned City “Elizabeth Bay,” “Agdam” equally has just the same feel of a gothic and isolated touch, sans the appearance of Hauschka himself.
