Kronos Quartet Want You to Listen to Some of Their New Thoughts

Hot off of their last recording with The National’s Bryce Dessner debut composer record Aheym, The Kronos Quartet return with their new headlining album A Thousand Thoughts, due out this April. The first revealed track off the record has the quartet performing Alter Yechiel Karniol’s ethereal piece “Sim Sholom” which you can preview below.

For the Kronos Quartet their constant drive for pushing contemporary works is no secret but more importantly their fluidity in performance is what really makes the group’s track record so illustrious. ¬†Those who pre-order the album now from the Nonesuch Records store site can download the track “Sim Sholom”¬†for free.
